I really love how he keeps being messy in a controlled, entertaining way. Curious to see what he comes up with next. My only issue is that his creative direction looks identical to his previous cover arts, kinda wish to have seen a bit of a change or evolution. Regardless, I’m expecting him to slay the visual aspect of this project the way he has in the past.

He's still only 24. By the same age, Gaga had only released The Fame and The Fame Monster. So his best days are still in front of him and he's got years to grow and evolve.

I love the guy tbh. His chaotic zoomer energy mixed with a sincerity that's rare in pop today puts him in my top 5 easily.

He's got his corny bops like Old Town Road and Call Me By Your Name buuut he's also got songs like Sun Goes Down, Void, or Lost in the Citadel that come from the true pain of growing up gay in a place that's not really accepting of it. Facing heartbreak in fleeting, socially unacceptable romances, and having little support to deal with it.

Also, his show was one of the most fun ones I've been to

And how can you hate this:

:ladyhaha:

People gotta get used to him 'cause he's not going anywhere imo.

I'm just like 🧍‍♂️

I sure know, I was a costume assistant on the last show of his tour at Lollapalooza festival in Paris this summer :glamourpuss: Actually curious to see if I'll show up in his documentary :cryga:

so many of you sound like the people who shat on gaga during judas, bloody mary, and electric chapel when btw was released. gaga did religious imagery and shock value like this from the fame monster thru to born this way. what is the problem?

So, so many of the people we queen out over dress like religious figures and get a lil goofy with it.

Why are y'all actin brand new now that he's doing it?

This has so been done a hundred times before. Tired cliché.

But I'm here for the Christian slander :anveeroy:

Haters will watch this video and STILL try to say he's not got some visionary in him. Pleathe!

He does, but it's more Katy Perry level of eyesore. Bad taste imo.

Back in 2011, we were all hiding in illuminati references. I mean Gaga did, let's not forget :ororomunroe:

I'm shocked at the amount of hate Lil Nas X gets on here. After (Montero) CMBYN he has proven to me, that he, as a black artist and representative of the LGBTQ+ community, pushes boundaries in the rap genre just like Gaga did with pop 15 years ago and everyone loves her for that. But because he isn't a white woman, we don't support that artistry?

To say it with Gagas words: "Stop throwing stones at your sisters and your brothers".

A lot can be said about this image, but this is nonsense. I feel like you’re either biased, or have no idea what you’re talking about.

No, it's actually ugly to me and my critiques uphold. Looks like ****. It's not nonsense if you understand.

No, I fully support him. This is just an ugly, basic, nonsensical photo.

You know what... As much as I used to hate this photo, you just horseshoed me into loving it. It's so basic and uninspired and it's still said SO much about the people upset about it. Blasphemy against an evil organization like Christianity is always justified. I have to respect him for having his finger on their pulse and knowing how little he can do to still achieve the most.
