Since he died with After Hours, and went to purgatory with Dawn FM, it has been speculated that the third album will represent the After Life (also there’s a commercial for it in Every Angel is Terrifying). However some say it will not be afterlife but it will be rebirth themed and he will start using his name.

I am hyped for this final installment of the trilogy. The thing that I loved about Dawn FM was how much progression The Weeknd character showed. After Hours was about being trapped in a never ending cycle of destructive behavior and self loathing while Dawn FM was the battle to move on and better yourself. It makes total sense that this next album will set up the end of The Weeknd and his rebirth as Abel Tesfaye.

This seems likely, but I wish he’d have kept The Weeknd name for this third album (since it’s part of a trilogy) and it end with his rebirth and have the next album as Abel

He could have even done a song ft. Abel as the last song on the album
