Trust her process

I was watching this particular Gucci promo interview:

..and she said that she was using her real-life traumatic experiences for her role as Patrizia..bec she thinks that's the way for her to do it. It's unhealthy and she is aware but she has this romance with the script...romance with the character.

so what if, this silence from her, these uncertainties on her announced works...is already this "bad romance" between her and Harleen..between her and Joker. The movie is not out yet and although there is a loooot of time to do more things inbetween, we all know Gaga is super deep serious on every film that she is a lead. So is she having some artist's block bec of this Harleen/Joker2 mindset still in her head? Is she contemplating too much on this role? 

 

Or im just delulu  All i know is that I trust Gaga's process. I know that she (and her team) is not perfect and she has a different approach to reach a more larger audience with her art. I know that she is trying to be healthier now, in mind body and soul. And maybe im the one overthinking and she is just living her private life. So again, i just trust this process that we are in. 

2024 is here and we are already in the year of another re-peak of Lady Gaga I truly believe. I do wish for more Gaga appearances if not projects this year, but i know that some of the things that she does are calculated, are connected...and it leads up to this main event which is Joker FAD.

The HOG interviews definitely showed that Gaga takes these Hollywood roles seriously on a level rarely if ever witnessed, to say the least

It makes perfect sense for her being who she is to have to mentally prepare for even the promo era for that movie, let alone the release. Every time she has had a major role in something, she has declared it was the most fulfilling artistic project of her entire career. This will be the same, no doubt.

Personally, I think it's a bit silly and self-important. Her roles so far simply do not require that level of therapeutic depth and it seems unhealthy for her to insist that they do. The HOG interviews were comical but also painful to watch because of that. Her references to how she studied animals to portray Patrizia and channeled global pain and oppression into some scenes were honestly just plain delusional.

Given that this role is definitely the most intense so far, we're probably in for a ride

I think the reason we haven't heard much from Gaga this year is probably because she's in jail. She probably killed someone while preparing for Harley Quinn.

Delusional? That's why I love her. She is SO EXTRA. Sometimes I cringe over what she says but then I'm like 'what an icon'. Bringing a psychiatric nurse to a set... That is pure dedication. Makes me love the product more!

I also remember her saying she would still take her roles very seriously after House of Gucci, but with a healthier approach. I'm positive her silence (which has been broken several times though, be it Sweet Sound of Heaven or her studio pic etc) has to do with what she said in her ig post about The Chromatica Ball Film: as you stated, she's just changed approach and wants more privacy since she made her statements, fame has drained her and her fans have become ungrateful towards everything she does. In the post she also references shooting Joker as a very introspective time period so it's safe to say she's just recovering from all the work she's done in the past year and I wouldn't read too deep into that. She's only human.

In my opinion the criticisms of LM and the medias annoyed her a lot and she hinted it in this TikTok video which the audio was "I'm working" or something like this (I'm too jaded to find the links to the video lmao...). And she seems to care of herself, do you remember the stupid "botcheeed" tiktok drama, I remember that she was wearing a connected ring that had tracking on her health. 

But the fact that she's taking care of herself doesn't mean that she's not working on another project, I think that her and her team have many ideas and they're trying to manage it well so yep the documentary "The Lady And The Legend" is maybe cancelled and same for the Chromatica Ball Tour film but she's probably busy working on something else.

People mocking Gaga for taking her approach to acting seriously in this thread are annoying. The "she's so CrAzY and ExTrA" schtick is dismissive of her dedication, and (at times) rooted in misogyny. Are we calling a woman crazy when she dares to take her approach to art seriously in 2024? It's like she is being gaslit by her so-called fans who invalidate her knowledge and training by calling it extra over and over again.

I wonder if any of you have poured 100% of yourselves into a passion, or put any real effort into a craft in your lives. Is caring deeply about being creative and taking a process seriously too 'cringe' for you? 

A lot of things that Gaga gets harped on about being so CrAzY and ExTrA are normal things that actors do. She was taught the Strasberg method, which uses memories from the actor's personal life to connect to a character. She doesn't act that way because she's quirky, it is what she was trained to do. Choosing animals to inform a character is a standard acting exercise. Many actors use it, you guys are being ignorant.

Marlon Brando studied apes for Streetcar Named Desire, Jake Gyllenhaal studied coyotes for Nightcrawler, and Anthony Hopkins used various animals like tarantulas and crocodiles for Silence of the Lambs. But I guess they are allowed to be taken seriously while a pop-girlie like Gaga isn't allowed to be seen as legitimate at acting. You are her fans aren't you supposed to be supporting her not adding to undermining her?

If it's commercial success or a potential commercial success it's good. If it's a deep cut it's a filler (omg the word filler is so dumb... The gurl has written 80 songs but she picks this one specially coz she doesn't know what to do ?? cmon)

I think people don't have a real taste for themselves. Even like left wing people like me. Most are hating on Gaga only coz it's pop music. And they say it's the same basic thing than FunRadio (a very generic radio)//// take a listen. 

 

 + Nicki's fans.... They can't hear she finally has sounds that sound sweet and delicious. They can stream Starships instead. The way PF II is receiveing the ARTPOP treatment is sending me 

bored and tired (of the world in general). Sorry if anybody takes it personally.
