No "What A Girl Wants" ?!?!?! I can't BELIEVE this :saladga:

I like the showgirl-inspired soundtrack with the cabaret style covers. Xtina's voice, lewk, and some of her songs are perfect for that theme

OH THIS IS EVERYTHING. Hearing that there may be a large portion of covers is a little bit of a let down, but the show looks great nonetheless.

Maybe we should all move to Vegas, it seems like all the good shows are there.

Xtina looks and sounds great.

So it's clear at this point that the Voltaire residencies are half the usual production of a normal vegas residency for exactly the same price....

Agreed.  I thought the same thing about Kylie.  Why is it only 14-15 songs.  It must be a venue thing.

The thing is is that the venue is SO small. It’s just not like a venue that would house Adele or Gaga. The fun is in being SO close to the star. I sat right front row on the alley for Kylie and at one point she stopped right in front of me and did the Locomotion with me. At that point it truly didn’t matter what I paid; you can’t buy an experience that cool

OT: Xtina sounds amazing and the show looks fun, good for her. I agree I’d prefer maybe one less cover, but I wouldn’t have walked out of the show unhappy.

That I totally get, smaller gigs are always infinitely better imo. But I do think the marketing really over hyped the actual idea of it for Kylie in-particular. Especially as it appears to be replacing any actual tour at this point

Was about to say this lol too many covers, but then again, Gaga Jazz & Piano is basically a covers show

Most jazz concerts are nearly entirely standards from the 1920's, '30s, and '40s, and some from the '50s.  It's what Tony sang and called The Great American Songbook.  I love those standards, and I attend jazz shows to see them performed live.  Kudos to Gaga for doing her Jazz & Piano show.

I live outside the space time continuum.

someone posted the full show and it doesn't last more than one hour and also 'Candyman' and 'Show Me How You Burlesque' are performed by her backup singers while she isn't on the stage
