Also about the UK no, The UK is still one of the most populated developed Countries

 

After USA, Japan and Germany im pretty sure UK is the 4th most populated developed Nation (someome correct me if im wrong)

 

Canada neverthless despite the perception of Americans is not that low in ranking of Countries by population especially in developed world. Theres still way more Countries with less than more. The US is just huge

 

This guy at work (hes an American i do zoom meetings with) that thinks Canada is an empty snow land thought Australia had more population than Canada and im like no, we had almpst 10M on Australia

Comparatively, Canada is vastly empty. Your coworker isn’t incorrect. You have to remember 40 mil people, for the second largest(by land) country in the world means that most of the country is uninhabited. Just large city metros and close to the boarder is where people live In Canada.

i'm all here for our population growing. we can realistically accommodate for a population of 100M and still be good BUT our housing crisis is a huge mess in part because the government keeps bringing in so many immigrants who then compete with locals for rent spaces and there are not enough homes being built...we need home building to match this insane pace of immigration and general population growth...

He was talking about TOTAL population though. If he was talking about density to geography hed be correct but that wasnt really the context (we were talking about size of markets for business purposes)

 

Also Australia is also huge, and their population density is actually even lower than ours

No. Indians for some years have been by far our biggest source of immigration

I think maybe the 20% poorest may be better off in Canada than USA given our higher minimum wages and across the board program supports for the low income and healthcare access as well...

 

But the rest of the 80% id say is worse off in Canada than in the US. Canada has become entirely hostile to middle class unless ur older and bought a home a long time ago and have decent income and/or pension
