Inactive 698
I mean the MPGs haven’t really been dancing in videos for a minute, I think since the 2000s era ended with Britney, and Gaga dances in most videos. But Taylor, Dua, Ariana, Katy, Miley, etc a lot of the videos are more artistic, them walking and singing, storytelling and less dance numbers like the 00s. I don’t know if Normani revolutionized the scene but some never stopped like Gaga.

I remember Stan Twitter was RABID when the Motivation video dropped because it really gave that 2000s dance video vibe in a way that we hadn’t had from *most* pop artists in a minute. It sucks that her career has been flopping and she hasn’t put out music in a while but Motivation was definitely a cultural moment. And no shade I always sense an air of racism around Normani. So lemme just say if your only sense of cultural impact is white gay Stan Twitter you are SO uninformed. Motivation truly was iconic. 3

Like sweating by the end of the number kind of work.

Roughhouse Dandy 8,359
Now why is there shade being thrown at Normani? Let her have her flowers when she's recognized for dancing as hard as she does when performing; not every pop girlie (even the ones with dedicated defenders on here) can keep up. This is my Hannah Montana™️ lipgloss.
