Levine 22,366 Posted March 16 Share Posted March 16 Well Sapphira stumbled a couple of time but she and Nymphia were funnier than Plane and Q who only had the slides thing, for the rest they were kinda cringy. So I get why Ru gave Sapphira the win. Nymphia was maybe funnier than Sapphira but only during her moment, while Sapphira held up the whole team from the start to the finish. And her runway was 100% 80s. I'm sorry for Mih'ya but I'm glad she got eliminated, she was the "safe net" that was making the decisions pretty boring, from the next week it'll be much more interesting to see who's going home (ok Morphine has a foot in the grave already, but who's going to beat her? Q, Dawn and Plane definitely can't, but we know that the ways of Ru are infinite). This for me was the weakest episode of the season tho. Like she is amazing and perfect and elaborate costumes but didn't get that wow factor, except first week maybe. Just tuning into the episodes to watch Nymphia's runways now. Q expecting herself to win was weird, she and Plane were funny but not the best. I feel bad for Dawn because she could have done so well had she been paired with someone else NYMPHIA'S RUNWAY..... The runways are great though and Morphine ATE that lipsync. Saphira winning… I guess out of lack from a better option, I get it. I think Dawn or Q will be next to go. Agree with bottom 2 but Mhi'ya by far the worst of the week, sad for Morphine because she still did good. Runway was great but not as creative as I was hoping for, Nymphia looked amazing I was gagged when she turned the corner, the purple and red were the perfect hues and it was just fun and retro futuristic. Plane beautiful, Sapphira beautiful, Morphine's glitter skin was super pretty. Gagged that at the beginning of the season Mhi'ya was like "Morphine is not a performer around Miami, she's a look queen" and I believed ha but turns out mama is a great performer! Beat her! "did this bitch just throw her tits at me?" zs;gbisdufbgdifgubdfgiub "it's gonna take more than a fake boob to stop me, bitch" dfgbdfgk this was my favorite lip sync of the season Happy for Mhi'ya, great showing on the show for who she is as a queen. No one treats it like a lip sync for your LIFE like Mhi’ya has so I really love how she raised the bar for antics and bs to put on a show. The growth from very quiet and to herself to showing more personality and being so funny while still being reserved, loved it. & no one was turning it like her during a lip sync, flipping or not but yes including flipping! gagzus 14,462 Posted March 17 Share Posted March 17 (edited) I’m enjoying this season so far, despite knowing all the spoilers since last year I love seeing the spoilers and tidbits come to life. This season has been the first since season 10 where I actually haven’t gotten tired of the season length (season 14 I’m looking at you 😭) not counting UK and I think it’s because it’s the first season since S10 that really feels like it has every key element that made drag race good before. We have a clear cut villain, a mother figure, under dogs, delusional queens, artsy queens, traditional performers and stakes Spoiler Also out of the top 2 of the season, it feels like Saphirra is definitely a main season winner vibe, and Nymphia is an All Stars winner vibe. I could totally see Nymphia coming back for AS10 or 11 and winning, and I can totally see Plane doing UKvTW and being ROTTED about everyone’s non-Americanised drag 😭😭 Edited March 17 by gagzus Quote Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

Reality 71,850 Posted March 17 Share Posted March 17 This was an interesting episode... I thought the challenge itself was good. Other than Mhi'ya, I don't think anyone really flopped the challenge. The judging was strange though. Based on the editing, I for sure thought that either Q or Plane was going to win. Q had a good edit this episode and the storyline was there (i.e., having to be paired up with Plane, who she's had a contentious relationship with, and showing vulnerability by opening up about being HIV positive). Sapphira's win isn't unwarranted because I thought she did very well, but the editing made it seem like Q and Plane's group did the best. The runways were good. Nymphia and Q stood out as usual, but I'd say Nymphia's was my favorite. Sapphira also had a great runway and it was really the only one that screamed 80s to me—which is another reason why she might've won the episode. Girl, this lip sync though...a mess I mean, it was entertaining as hell, but Mhi'ya throwing her dress over Morphine and Morphine throwing her boob at Mhi'ya, it was reminding me of some of the S3 lip syncs Morphine did will the lip sync though, and it was Mhi'ya's time to go. Other than being a great lip syncer, she didn't have much to offer in other parts of the competition. Next week is a bathroom design episode, which...ok...We haven't had one of those since All Stars 5, I believe. I also don't remember if we've ever had a room design episode in a regular season before, so that should be interesting. It looks like Sapphira and Plane are paired up based on the preview and I could easily see them winning tbh. They're both very charismatic so if part of the challenge is the "sell" the room, I could see them doing great. Though it looks like Dawn and Nymphia are paired up as well, so aesthetically speaking, I think they'll do great.
