FfFfFfFF 58,118 Posted December 2, 2023 Share Posted December 2, 2023 The Serbian government stated that the Republic of Serbia today purchased the infamous Directive no. 25 of 27 March 1941, by which German chancellor Adolf Hitler ordered the attack on the Kingdom of Yugoslavia and the Kingdom of Greece. On the basis of an initiative sent by the Museum of Genocide Victims to President of the Republic of Serbia Aleksandar Vucic and at the request of the President of the Republic, the Serbian government secured the necessary funds to purchase one of the most important documents for the entire history of the Serbian people. The order is one of 13 copies titled Directive no. 25 and signed by Adolf Hitler. Unfortunately there are long lasting effects, for instance the ethnic tensions between Serbs and Croats and hatred of Croats by some Serbs for being ''Nazi collaborators'' (this is in no way the sole reason why ex-Yugoslavia is a messy place - there were many ethnic, societal etc factors, but still: the Nazis probably contributed to the status-quo). Another downsite was that for many other countries Nazi occupation was immediately replaced by Soviet occupation, which too translated into ethnic cleansing and supression.
