Do you think/want Tony and Gaga to do a tour?

I think that wouldn't work for Gaga's audience, but as someone said before, maybe a few shows and tv performances would be nice.

Tony doesn't have the energy to tour anymore, but I could definitely see them recording a few televised shows to promote the album :)

Innovative

Tony Bennet ain't doing no world tour. If anything it will be 1-2 performances in a New York theater which would actually be pretty cool to go to.

Tony was touring South America a couple months ago, a friend of mine attended. But he performed in little theatres, like in front of 2000 people. Maybe they could do a couple of shows in the US, intimate mode. But there isnt enough demand worldwide for him.

Sure, us fans say that we're into the idea of them working together, but let's be honest, do you really think we'd give two hoots about Tony Bennett or his music if he wasn't working with Gaga? Hell, I hadn't even heard of him until he duetted with Gaga. Jazz isn't among the upper rungs of the favourite music genres of Gaga fans, so I can't see anyone being bothered to see them do a tour together. Maybe televised concerts that the public go along to view, like The Today Show. They can go on all the chat shows and such-like, but if it's coming out anywhere near Gaga's albums and singles, it would be stupid to give her comeback a back seat to a side album with Tony. Let's not pretend that this is going to be viewed as a studio release - it's a side project to show her versatility, get her making the music that she wants to make, to get amazing critical reviews and to get Grammy nominations Sure, I'm sure she gets along with Tony and all, but at its heart, this is a massive career move for her, nothing more. Nothing wrong with that, it just shouldn't be viewed as something more than it is.

It is not just about Gaga fans.

Screw us who mostly are daft to musical genres other than pop and dance music

It is more like to reach another market outside it.

It is your problem too if you never know who Bennett is before.?

But many others have known him and that is where the opportunity came.

I could definitely see a 5-10 show mini promo tour thing, with smaller venues and such.

3 points in and ready for more

The ideal would be this, supposing the album is out this month just for arguments sake...

Ticket prices from 90-150

01/Feb. Royal Albert Hall, London.

05/Feb. Under the eiffel tower, Paris.

11/Feb. Streets of Berlin, Germany.

18/Feb. Central Park, New York.

Just a short jaunt with modest profit.

while the career move thing makes sense, not knowing who Tony Bennett is before he duetted with Gaga is ignorant. verging on ridiculous.
