Taylor did not reach Ana’s family after she passed away

The family of student Ana Clara Benevides, who died last Friday (17) at singer Taylor Swift's first concert in Brazil, denied information given by the American press that the interpreter's team, at her behest, had contacted relatives.

According to the information provided by American outlets, such as Us Weekly and Page Six, Taylor ordered her team to contact Ana Benevides' family, which would have happened this Tuesday, according to the outlets.

Ana Benevides was buried this Tuesday (21) at the Parques dos Ipês Municipal Cemetery, in Pedro Gomes, Mato Grosso do Sul. The ceremony began at 9 am and was restricted to family and friends only.

With the lack of support from the singer's team, and from T4F, the producer of Taylor Swift's shows in Brazil, Taylor Swift's fan clubs crowdfunded to take Ana Clara's body from Rio de Janeiro to Mato Grosso do Sul. The family had cited financial difficulties in transporting the vehicle.

bullshit, tay will do everything in her power to support the family, financial or otherwise. if there's one thing tay is known for: it's her unwavering love for her fans. every single person affected is beyond devastated. we are not privy, nor should we be, to the events that are taking place behind closed doors.

Bullshit? It was said by her family. She did not pay for Ana’s body to be transported either, again confirmed by her family.

This issue is different from a celebrity loving their fans, its about someone dying at a concert. This will make any celebrity freak out, so I think shes just too worried her Eras Tour could turn into a big scandal like Travis Scott show! But she shouldnt be worried if she did not do anything wrong.

I just can’t help but feel Taylor would gain lots of public appreciation if she paid and I’m sure it’s not expensive for Taylor ??   I don’t see how it would negatively impact her or her show

She mentioned her in her stories and paid tribute to her. She already said she won't be mentioning it on stage. Is she supposed to break down on stage when she has a 3.5 hour show for people who just want to have a good time? I don't know what else she could have done except for helping financially but then people are gonna say she's making it all about herself. I'm sure she has her reasons of not wanting to get involved too much. If anything I'm shocked at the xenophobia I've seen come out of this. People putting words in Taylor's mouth that she hates Brazil and won't come back because of apparent death threats (oh please) and other crap like that. The whole think is just very sad and I hope people will move on now. A life was lost and she's buried now. Focus on that instead of making everything about what Taylor did or didn't do! This is not about Taylor. Show some respect for the deceased! This isn't pointed at anyone in particular btw but feel free to agree to disagree.

She never mentioned her name. She just said a fan passed away before her show. She never paid tribute to her.

Her family spoke out after Page Six released a PR article stating Taylor’s team reached them.

Probably she is advised to not do that cos legally that might get her into trouble. This is a case for Brazilian police and government now.

Taylor is someone who paid with her own money to her fans a lot, she even helped Kesha by sending $250K during her lawsuit case few years ago, I doubt she deliberately not doing anything this time around. Especially since she is in different country that might have different laws etc

Maybe her lawyers told her if you paid for the funeral, the family can sue you as it shows shes guilty. And im also sure shes scared the story was going to be a big scandals.

As a big fan I am disappointed with her. I don’t even know what else to say and I still have hope she will do something. Of course we know there’s legal stuff behind it all so I’m just waiting to see how this goes.

The fact that media is making it a whole clownery is also really bad.

Taylor is known for doing good things for her fans. I'm sure there has to be some reason behind the scene whether it's the stadium, the police, the government, her record label idk it's just a thing about many people involved. It's not just Taylor's decision to talk about it or do something. It's very easy to just say "Oh she should've done this, that, etc." when none of us know what's going on.
