This is a preview of what's gonna happen when Trump wins in 2024 on a wider scale. This is gonna happen on a federal level. They're gonna find loopholes to go after any media outlet critical of their political world. This media outlet basically reported on the rise of antisemitism in twitter since Elon Musk's takeover.

They accused him personally of being anti semitic, not just that he allows antisemitism on twitter.

They also faked and manufactures antisemitism on twitter to accuse him of antisemitism, then tried to sell their fake story to ads.

Thats true, but they literally faked and manufactured antisemitism on twitter so they could create a story that he is antisemitic. They couldnt prove that he allows antisemitism, so they faked it and sold the story to ads and the public. I really hate Musk, but I also dont see anything wrong with what hes doing aginst Media Matters.

I mean I haven't read the article. But he did endorse an antisemitic far-right theory telling the user "you've actually said the truth". The theory was about how Jews fund brown immigration to the U.S to do a "white genocide". Tucker Carlson who is also personally promoted by Elon Musk said a similar thing. And X literally promotes that Tucker Carlson's show on the platform.

His endorsement of that theory is definitely antisemitic. He later tried to backtrack and clarify, but still despicable imo. I don't know all the details of the allegations. But if they said Musk is antisemitic, well he's certainly said/done things that can support the criticism.

I just think it's so hypocritical of him to champion himself as some free speech protector and the moment some outlet writes a piece that makes him lose money, all of a sudden he's weaponizing the government against them.

Then why dont Media Matters use that as evidence of anti semitism? Instead, they faked and manufactured antisemitism, and successfully made Apple, Disney, Comcast, Warner Bros, NBCUniversal, and Paramount to stop ads on Twitter. Obviously this will result in a lawsuit after they have been exposed!

I thought Elon said Jews complaining about Anti Semitism are the same people who pushed for Anti White ideology? Regardless, im sure Elon said something horrible as he always does.

So I'm reading the lawsuit. And he's basically saying that yes ads were shown next to neo-nazi content, but that's because the "fake user" follows neo-nazi people on twitter?

So this is how he's saying they manipulate the algorithm? Well how about fixing it and not reinforcing people's nazi beliefs by showing them even more nazi content.

It's almost like Twitter needs a board to moderate user content or something hmm

The place has always been a cesspool of the angriest thoughts people can anonymously throw at each other but it's beyond intolerant these days.

It's hard to argue that isn't by design. It's either intentionally terrible or Elon really is that useless. Those are the only possibilities.

I don't see the issue personally?

I'm assuming they created user content that expressed antisemitic sentiments then exposed that Twitter not only allows such content, they allow ads to promote it, right?

Elon's algorithm, moderation, and TOS are broken, that's the problem. And advertisers can make their own decisions. I don't think any judge will consider this defamation when it literally just happens
