Not trying to be shady, but a Tony Bennett/Lady Gaga documentary is not entering the zeitgeist unless something very shocking is included in that film. Media attention directed at Beyoncé and Taylor Swift should not influence their decision to release something like this.

If anyone thinks a jazz documentary is gonna compete in terms of audience with Taylor or Beyonce they're fooling themselves. They all have their own audiences, people interested in watching this documentary will watch it no matter if it's released at the same time as Taylor's tour.

I know we have the terrible history with Gaga cancelling things but with Tony stuff his team always seemed to handle things smoothly. They probably had that date secured weeks in advance and perhaps postponed cause of Taylor releasing her Eras Tour film in VOD platforms today? That's one assumption I could make not to bump releases. Maybe they tie it as a close-to-christmas thing idk.

Trying to be a little rational here since it doesn't seem to be a Chromatica Ball Film fiasco tbh.
