sillynate 6,170 Posted November 15, 2023 Share Posted November 15, 2023 I remember when we first got the snippet from that one in March 2020 right at the start of the lockdowns and I was soooo hyped for it then come May I was like “this ain’t that” but don’t get me wrong, the final version is really really good!! I just loved hearing that Bowie sample in low quality and those extra vocals so I’m sure what a lot of us monsters thought this full demo was or could’ve been just stuck to a lot of us, to the point we got a version of it on DoC because people were asking for it so then when the actual demo leaked, for me personally I was disappointed with it because it’s kinda dull each version of Babel we’ve heard is better than the next album version > Breebylon (super good btw; I’d LOVE to hear Bree’s vocals over the album version) >>> house labs version on DoC >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> this demo Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

It's definitely unpolished and rough, but I just love the harmony in the Chorus, and the bridge is so much fun to sing along to. ~Yours ears are burning up/Talk is cheap but costs a lot~ I love all the versions, and honestly would eat up many more if she made them.
