Love the verses, great melodies & vocals. The production is funky/slick. I like it - I’m sure it’ll grow on me.

The video is cool, I appreciate the dancing/choreo/creativity of it all. I just.. who put together that outfit? :toofunny:

It's very British lowbrow fashion. It's very current here atm.

I'm fine, Ta

4th Time Around

Anyone complaining about a lack of "things going on" in the video is clearly missing the point. It is meant to be stripped back and full of attitude as far as a pop banger goes, stripped back is in style right now and a refreshing change from usual pop tropes, the video's appearance is about as far from Future Nostalgia as the moon and that is by design. The only thing that matters in the video is Dua herself, her confidence and how gorgeous she looks. I don't think a single like this really called for the usual  high production music video we expect from a main pop girl, if anything it just makes me more excited for the direction this era is going to take.

Hey, I'm king of the world, you ought to hear my song, you come on measure me, I'm twenty inches long

I really like the song but I've realized that her voice just doesn't interest me much. It's cute and sounds good but doesn't stand out. The production on the track is the star in this case as I  expected from Tame Impala.

Video is okay, effective enough but not feeling impressed by the choreography. Especially since she's become notorious for having something to prove with her improvements in dancing.

Overall it just doesn't feel groundbreaking but maybe I just don't do the Du, so to speak. She has seemed consistently focused in her visuals on expressing how cool and desirable she is, but she did begin her career as a model.

Kevin snappedT  those last 20 seconds :bradley:

Hope it slays them charts though I can see how it could sound more like a Dua feature on a Tame Impala song rather than it being a Dua track. Wish her the best nonetheless, she stunned in that MV.

Not super impressed on first listen. The synths sound dated, some of them are actually super similar to Swine. The lack of a substantial bridge is super disappointing as well..

Battle 4 Ur Life

I feel like the video would have benefited A LOT from a second scenario and outfit. I was expecting she would have worn this look on the video.

Snapinsta.app_390819494_707412044147946_

it would have slayed.

as for the song? FABULOUS. A BOP. NO COMPLAINTS. DANCE ANTHEM.

who put together that outfit? :toofunny:

Styled by her long-time collaborator Lorenzo Posocco, Lipa wears a Dion Lee fishnet corset top, navy Martine Rose track pants, and Puma sneakers

doesn't seem like lead single material AT ALL. great melody in the verses but that pre chorus is way too long and makes the song feel messy... along with a lackluster chorus.

yes but these days im seein postars use ther Lead as tool to see what gp react so they can take next singles decisions. I also agree with u that this waas jusr chill and safey

kindest regards
