There can be a 100 people in the dance studio having lunch and 99 of them think you’re annoying :billie:

Y’all do not pretend as stans. If some chick was singing wicked every day while you’re trying to eat you’d be annoyed af. Hell, Gaga would be annoyed af if she hadn’t been the one doing it (we saw boiling point; shes a New York girl lmao).

it’s okay to acknowledge ol’ girl is so extra that *now we like it but lord above if someone wasn’t lady Gaga doing this day in and out it’d be like stfu :laughga:

One of Gaga's old classmates posted this on reddit, it seems to check out.

"Okay I gotta chime in here. This is obviously not for clout because I'm anonymous and not talking to the daily friggin mail (ew). But Lady Gaga aka Stefani used to be a really close friend of mine right around this same time (2003ish).

Nothing Carly is saying here is incorrect. She absolutely would plop herself down at every piano she could find and start playing some song she could sing at the top of her lungs (Carly said Wicked, but i remember a lot more Rent). She absolutely would wear tight clothes and let her boobs run the show. And you know what? Her friends loved her for it. She was intense as hell. And hilarious. And so passionate, and so dedicated, and so damn talented. I guarantee you, Stefani would read this assessment and say "yep, that's me alright!" She had (and has) a gorgeous body and a gorgeous voice, and she wore them both loudly and proudly. I get it, that's not everyone's cup of tea. But Carly, this is gross and shameful. There is no need to tear other women down for behavior that is maybe annoying to you but ultimately harmless."

This is a riot. Tfb, I'd be annoyed to if someone was singing their talented a** off every lunch hour. That part I understood.

But whats make me howl is that, after watching that clip, it's clear she does not like Gaga even now. She's SUPER resentful. It's not like she's looking back at those crazy times with humor and/or nostalgia. Kids being kids and all. No. B*tch is holding a grudge!

I live.

for the 3 ones reading here’s some tea that didn’t make into the tabloids:

she said Stefani was better singing her own stuff :queenga: obvs

They both dropped out at the same time, she mentioned they both had to go to the president’s office and talk about dropping out, she remembered talking to her and mentioning that the program wasn’t for them and that they were unhappy with it. :omg::excited2:

Does this match Gaga’s version of the story? , I don’t remember her mentioning her dissatisfaction with her school program the reason why she dropped out, more like pursuing her singing career

Fantastic. The mental image of a bunch of normies trying to eat their lunch and have a normie conversation while a demented Gaga hammers away on the piano is f-----g glorious. I don't blame Carly for this. She was asked a question and she gave an honest answer which is just gonna add to the legend. If I'd been there I'd have been dreaming up ways to kill her. Gaga was no normie, she was exceptional, and it's turned out pretty good.... but not while I'm having my lunch please ffs.

I live for it to! Girl we get it…

Imagine trying to get some peace and quiet over a hectic day, a moment to enjoy lunch. But no, the annoying girl won’t shut the **** up. Then you graduate and sigh, “ahh finally no more hearing Stephanie on loop.… the torture is over.”

No… This bitch somehow becomes a global superstar and is on every screen, every radio station, every magazine until you die

The RESENTMENT! I stan.

Gaga would probably read this and be like “my bad…”

I may be misremembering facts, but I believe Gaga felt it wasn’t the place to develop into who she wanted to be.

When she left college she moved to the Lower Eastside where she developed her persona as a go-go dancer. I think her studies were better learned by absorbing herself in the scene, rather than theory.
