Marvel Studios' The Marvels releases this Fri, Nov 10!

Brie Larson returns as Carol Danvers/Captain Marvel, along with Teyonnah Parris as Monica Rambeau, and Iman Vellani as Kamala Khan/Ms. Marvel.

The Marvels follows the three heroes as they figure out why they switch places when use their powers, while facing a new threat.

So excited to see it on its first night! Captain Marvel is my 2nd fave Avenger (after Wanda).

Let me know your thoughts!

I'm going tomorrow. I've been so perched for a Marvel movie with heroes that I'm actually interested in.

I have to go in with low expectations though. Apparently there were a ton of reshoots so it might be bad...

I LOVED IT. Easily better than Quantumania and Love and Thunder.

- the action scenes are great with all the switching

- Brie, Teyonah, and Iman have good chemistry

- There a few things I got really hyped about (but I can't say yet because they're spoiler-y)

It is so fun! Ms. Marvel is the heart of this movie. The trio are SO GOOD together!!

And that end scene + mid credits :nooo:

They are finally in the universe OFFICIALLY!! :woot:

I thought it was a good movie and a decent MCU film.

I loved the switching places concept. It started out really strong then a little rushed after they went to Aldana.

I was really hoping for a final battle outside in space with Carol and Dar-Benn, at least an actual battle. It was really hoping for an epic showdown in the end but it just felt like a lackluster fight. They could have taken the whole Aunt Carol story arch just a little bit further emotionally (even though I ship Carol and Maria). I don’t mind Monica but she’s still a new character so I really wanted to feel even more empathy and compassion.

I liked Kamala’s family in the show, but I feel they were a little overused in this movie. These movies already have a lot of comic relief but it’s a little overwhelming at times. A part of me wishes it were just a Captain Marvel solo movie but I think they all had a good dynamic.

My biggest complaint is Dar-Benn’s design. She wore something so simple compared to the comic inspiration. I had the same complaint with Gorr in Love and Thunder.

I will probably rewatch it in the theaters in a week or so. It’s a little sad to see it hasn’t made too much money at the box office.
