What are your unpopular opinions about the album The Fame Monster?

Mine:

- So Happy I Could Die & Monster are the best songs on the album

- Monster should have been the lead single

- Bad Romance is soo overrated

- Both album covers are flawless

- The music video of Telephone is the best from this era

It's close to midnight and something evil's lurkin' in the dark. ○●

These really *are* unpopular, you nailed it :laughga:

my unpopular one is that monster is almost too tailor made to be a single. That era she was a tastemaker and Monster is exactly where others were catching up to. Monster is too obvious of a single. Telephone, while also in that bucket, worked bc her collabing with Beyoncé *is* unexpected especially with how they were both known back then.

and So Happy I Could Die is her best RnB song. I feel like others would debate that one lol but it’s most natural imo

Teeth is the best song on the album

As amazing and iconic as Bad Romance is, over half the other tracks are better.

The production of Speechless did not age well and makes the song hard to listen to today. I would love a more pared down re-recording (Stefani’s version lol)

So Happy I Could Die is one of Gaga’s best songs

Bad Romance is NOT overrated. It’s a pop masterpiece that we as fans have simply been overexposed to.

Bad Romance remain THAT pop song

Telephone doesn’t sound like the rest of the EP and should be a standalone single

the Era was way too short

DITD should be an official single outside of EU and should have a MV

She never looks prettier than during the BR promo (like this goth glamourous vibe is everything)

We where stollen an Alejandro performance at the grand journal at Cannes (she was supposed to be there but she cancel last minute and it’s still a big trauma from my teenage years)

TFM is her magnum opus not BTW. Quality over quantity

She has never topped this era or sound yet

Gaga’s best album cover by far, then Joanne (iconic minimalism, they’re more ARTPOP than ARTPOP tbh). They all are good minus Cheek To Cheek.

Monster would have kinda flopped as a single, I can’t see DITD being too successful either

Alejandro is amazing but it gets a little repetitive at the end

The tour outfits are the most iconic of all time tbh

Also, @billboard leave me alone with The Fame. When I want to see how much The Fame Monster has sold or how many streams it has etc, I don’t want it to be combined with The Fame:motherofpuppies: it’s like combining two brothers to evaluate their IQ.

DITD was amazing in 2010, but I don't think it had longevity in it compared to Bad Romance/Telephone
