Queen of Halloween. There were a lot Wednesday Adams this year, so there was a lot of synergy going on between Wednesday, Jenna Ortega, and Bloody Mary. Curious when the 2nd season will release. Monster would work perfect. Probably not likely but a guest appearance from Gaga would be cute too as I’m sure she’s always wanted to work with Burton.

Maybe they'll use og Bloody Mary in S2, however Jenna Ortegs is clearly over the "Wednesday" trend :bradley:

Another Gaga song like "Monster" or "Replay" would be dope

When I bow down to pray… I hope her teams solidifies this song and a few others as Halloween classics like Mariah’s team solidified AIWFCIY

Yeah, I don’t see Bloody Mary being used. Production hasn’t even started for S2. Imagine if Gaga gave them Frankensteined to be used for the show. I could see her doing it, if it was a basically completed track. The Adams Family has a huge history with pop culture including Cher being on one of the adaptations, Tim Burton is a legendary director, Bloody Mary’s viral moment, and Jenna Ortega/Wednesday’s popularity are factors that I could see her giving them that song to use and promote the show. I don’t think I need to state the potential benefits for the show receiving a new Lady Gaga song and if schedules worked a role on the show whether for one episode or season.

I’m telling y’all! I went to a Halloween party this past weekend filled with straights and they had Bloody Mary on the Halloween playlist! And not the sped up TikTok version, but the official studio version and the crowd was loving it. It was the first time in such a long time that I saw such a large group of straight people chanting a Gaga song! :firega:

I think Bloody Mary is officially a Halloween staple!

on season 2 all they need to do is use the bridge of 'Monster' minus the explicit bit. same way Stranger Things used Running Up that Hill

Go Bloody Mary!!!!

It took over 25 years for All I Want For Christmas Is You to hit #1, I can be patient!

The Fame Monster is such a Halloween album, maybe one year the album will hit #1

I feel like she needs to lean into her more spooky and dark side (ala the fame monster) - that’s when the GP really like her

I do to, but I think it needs to be a balancing act.

During The Fame Monster she was dark and edgy. People genuinely thought she was dark and creepy. It was enamouring and a huge breath of fresh air. She was the cool foil for her poppy contemporaries.

Born This Way and ARTPOP started to crack her façade, people started to have enough of her

I think her continuing to lean into high fashion and high octane videos (John Wayne, 911) will serve her well. She also has dark characters in AHS, HOG and FAD that she can lean into.

I think The Fame Monster can speak for itself and take on its own life. Let it be rediscovered organically (as what is happening right now).

In music she’s in a position to thread the needle between dark and creepy, Gaga, and sophisticated Lady.

I want Gaga to genuinely frighten again, but I want that to only be half of her persona.
