Is it positive anymore ?

I’ve been thinking of making this thread for a while now, but was unsure. However I’ve been thinking is the Little Monster community or GGD positive or a fan base that’s fun to be a part of anymore?

I love Gaga, always have and always will but it seems every move she makes these days gets criticised whether it’s about a project being delayed or a new song/album. It’s almost like if she isn’t doing what the fans want her to do they hate her, or if she does it’s not good enough. Don’t get me wrong I’m disappointed with not seeing the tour film or some other aspects but at the same time I don’t think it’s ok to hurl abuse at her or accuse her of being a money hungry demon. 
 

It’s like sometimes some people who are supposed to be her fans want her to fail. They constantly dismiss her achievements and the complete turn around she’s made in the 5+ years. What do you all think ? I don’t want trigger anyone or dismiss there opinions either.

 Little Monsters have not really been getting fed for awhile now, I think negativity stems more from being bored than anyone desperate to see her fail. We are just in one of those dry periods, LG7 or Joker 2 can't get here soon enough.

i actually had to quit this website when shallow came out because so many people said the song would tank because she left audience noise in the song and it was just too difficult to be excited about a gaga project when too many downers were ruining everything

it's starting to get like that again but at least now i'm too busy with work to be here all the time

My take from Gaga's interviews and her actions is that she wants her fans to sort of move on.  She doesn't want to be the primary focus.  She doesn't want people disappointed or upset if she's not doing what fans expect.  

Of course she appreciates that we're still there for her, but I don't think she wants pressure or worship.  

I think this group of people just got to like each other and Gaga is just the main common interest.

I've been around since TF and we were served with so many things back then, so much promo, performances, singles, videos, it was at one point, overwhelming. I guess we got used to that, but then it changed to a bunch of projects, videos, etc, being delayed or canceled, and that has been happening ever since, so I understand where a lot of fans are coming from, but I can't justify the way Gaga has been handling all these new releases when back in the day everything was clear, and now she's silent most of the time

If you enjoy the music and visual art as a fan of Lady Gaga, bask in that and stop letting other people affect your enjoyment and entertainment.  Remember why you're here.

I think it is easier to pay attention to the negativity/complaining/criticisms towards Gaga, in general with humans we pay more attention to negative things (negativity bias). People are much more likely to express views online when they have something to complain about than when they have something positive to share. There is a lot of complaining towards Gaga but I also see a lot of fans who are grateful and support her decisions... you just have to look for it

I guess I really learned to disregard the naysayers. We all know Gaga's hard working, a fantastic human being, and will be an icon for decades to come so why should some complaining delulu that's only here for dancy pop music ruin things for you?

They're the ones that want Gaga in a box and she made it clear years ago that she don't f*cks with boxes

Just roll your eyes and have fun with the people who are here to celebrate her projects, or at least speak constructively when they're not satisfied as fans.

And remember, ALL stans are toxic. It's not normal to be that obsessed about someone

Yes, I had to disconnect for years during ARTPOP. People on this site were so negative that she was flopping and that ARTPOP wasn’t good. That she needed to make herself look and dress pretty/sexy while singing Adele/LDR tracks that showed off her talent to make the GP like her more.

I generally find people here to be pretty positive. I would say right now though we feel like we’re starving because we have no info and projects that were confirmed haven’t materialized, while we’re seeing other artists feed their fans so much at the same time.  I don’t think it’s that unusual for there to be frustration here right now. It will all turn around as soon as she actually releases something.

But people have different level on what posts they think as "want Gaga to fail", some people are hard stanning that they can't accept even the most harmless criticism of Gaga, and I think that's not healthy.

Ultimately we don't know Gaga as a person, she could be genuinely trying to do something good in this world, but some other times, she could just do things for the cash or whatever it is that wil smoothen her plans. She is not new with some gigs that her fans question a lot. Say, for what purpose other than monetary or favors she did those private concert for Microsoft in 2014?

And those are okay. Fans mainly just want explanations, answers in 99% of the time when something happened that might be seen as negative.

I don't think fans are really being negative, if anything they're being completely honest? 

Have a look at the ARTPOP 2 meltdowns thread, it's not actually people complaining rather just having banter and saying how blatant the cash grabs the past few years have been.

Dragged that song for filth the first week then it grew on me.
