And the final ranking is in!!!!

1. Is It Over Now šŸ‘‘Ā

2. SLUT!

3. Now That We Don’t Talk

4. Suburban Legends

5. Say Don’t Go

ABSOLUTELY LOVED 1-3

Suburban Legends will take a few more listens to fully digest.

SDG is forgettable and idk if I want to try to like it.Ā
Ā

Overall, a majority of these tracks are right up my alley. The re-records on the other hand…I’m scared to listen, chile

WAYAMANT!!!

On second listen, Say Don’t Go is sounding kinda good. I see the vision!!!! She’s still a lovely fourth alternate, but she’s still good!!!

get jack away from vault tracks. the vault tracks in general feel a bit too removed from the album (on all of them, fearless, speak now, red & 1989) aside from a couple. The production feels like a mix of whatever album they are on and kinda just general pop. I like Jack, I think him and Taylor work well together, they have created some of my favourite songs ever but these vaults I am truely looking for historical accuracy, most vault songs would not have sounded like that is they were actually on the album.Ā

This. They sound like ā€œmidnightsā€ B sides. We need Max Martin back. I’m done with Jack. Please.Ā

Okay, I loved the production on some of the re-records: except Style, Shake It Off, and I know places (the vocals are there, not the production).Ā

The vault tracks do sound like midnights, but I could see Now That We Don’t Talk and Say Don’t Go on the album.Ā

on what tracks:samanthac: Now That We Don’t Talk and Say Don’t Go are the closest we got to 1989 in that vault. The other tracks would be fine if they weren't 1989 vault tracksĀ

yep, or just someone else who really excels in that 1989 production and will execute it with the original vision of the album. I like Jack but these vault tracks are causing a lot of resentment towards him from swifties

SLUT! & Is It Over Now already certified platinum in my bedroom. Now That We Don’t Talk certified Gold. The numbers don’t lie, I fear.Ā :anveeroy:

Im very confused. The ā€œStyleā€ vocals sound so robotic and almost no emotion. Is very strange. Mmmmmm is my favorite song and it sounds very very strange.Ā
thoughts?Ā

yep, idk what happened there, shake it off also sounds kinda off
