Sorry but why do all the vault tracks have the same instrumental? Feels like a long ass track :saladga:

Jackoff Tonoff… they literally all sound the same lol. :traumatica:

and like @Taylucifer said the vaults tracks have nothing to do with 1989 sonically or conceptually… I was disappointed, because I was very excited for the 1989’s tracks, and don’t get me wrong, I loved the tunes of Say Don’t Go, Suburban Legends, but its production is so Midnights coded.

Still can't believe they botched Style like that. And the New Romantics chorus production sounded like an EDM club remix.

Say Don't Go is the only standout vault track. The rest are Midnights fillers.

Almost everything sounds better than the original. It's mind-blowing how she was able to capture this album so well.

But No music videos? Weird.

So RED remains the best rerecording. I really was hoping the production was better than Speak Now TV on this one but it is on the same level.

The only song I'm loving so far is Wildest Dreams because her mature voice gives it such a different vibe.

Actually none of the bonus tracks feel like 1989.

I think at least "Now That We Don't Talk" and "Is It Over Now?" fit the 1989 vibes.

I'm enjoying "Say Don't Go" a lot as well. "Slvt!" (which seems to be the single) is a grower.

I have to agree, it's listenable... the first time.

If she didn’t butcher We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together it would’ve been a great re-record. :ladyhaha:

WANEGBT album version became a skip for me after I listened to some of the live versions, and those are the only ones I care about. :billie:

Yes. Her debut album was self-titled

Only the botched reputation of every vocoder in existence.
