Is it goddess or just normal pop marketing and not wanting to talk to the press bc she doesn’t have to and doesn’t like it? Lmao like I don’t see anything about her marketing that is dramatically different from someone on her level. It gives Madonna or early Gaga vibes. Only difference is she wants a private life and plays into her fans calling her queen but like…how is that any different than mother monster-type stuff?

idk she strikes me as a pretty humble person who’s worked their whole ass off for like 30 years to be able to have a career on her own terms which is *clearly* out of the public eye, if possible. She’s never really liked press stuff so if she’s gotten to a point where she can throw it out and let the brand largely speak for itself then 🤷‍♀️ I don’t blame her lmao

but the actual pop side of her marketing seems fairly standard and ofc elevated bc it’s about hype and experience. But notice she never calls herself the greatest singer alive or the best tour or the best dancer or the best album or blah blah. It’s just “the queen”, “king Bey.” It just takes from hip hop culture and people rag on her a little bc she’s actually talented so it comes off as braggy which is the point lmao it’s about fantasy.

idk, I got feelings on it clearly bc I legit read stuff like your comment and am like well…Madonna and Gaga absolutely have laid into their marketing the same and no one bat an eye when they did it  Let the girls have their fantasies, it’s more fun!!! Pop was soooo boring for soooo long I’m not about to tell the girls to drop the visage anytime soon

Madonna and Gaga have videos like the one linked fairly often. I haven’t seen anything like this video from Beyonce in a long long time

and tbh, Beyoncé’s brand, in my opinion, is selling herself as if she’s a goddess. Her most recent album aesthetics have been based off of Yoruba. Mind you, it’s not a bad thing, just something I noticed and think makes her less personable in my opinion. That’s all. Some people love that, I don’t
