FfFfFfFF 58,337
In Romania, autumn is considered to be the period between September to November. September and October are the months when the leaves from the trees are starting their transition from green to rust, but the chlorophyll is still existing in large amounts in the foliage, creating a melting pot of colours. Source - https://sibiutourguide.com/wp/2017/10/21/what-is-the-best-time-to-see-the-autumn-colors-in-romania/ I posted a similar kind of thread last year in 2022, autumn came again and I thought this site could benefit from a small break from political and war-related topics w/ some shots of peaceful nature. Ayesha Erotica 1,925
So here my posts continues from @Economys topic. Not only Romanias landscapes are beautiful but also its music. I have Romanian language songs in my playlist and I'm not even from there, I judge songs by how beautiful they are and any language has a chance and it's just an observation that I don't have any Spanish-language songs nor Italian songs but I have some Romanian songs. I think Romanians/Moldovans are very talented music-wise like Sweden. Their language and music is melodical and somehow happy. Here are some songs in my playlist in Romanian language: Then there are songs not in RO but from RO or MOLDOVIAN artists: and not to forget Inna I consider Romania/Moldova/Transnistria a significant cultural sphere in music. Here are some songs in my playlist in Romanian language: Then there are songs not in RO but from RO or MOLDOVIAN artists: and not to forget Inna I consider Romania/Moldova/Transnistria a significant cultural sphere in music. These are interesting observations, Latin languages like Romanian indeed tend to be pretty melodic! And in terms of music Romania really produced the most international hits in SE Europe. Sadly despite this and the fact that Romania has a huge diaspora, this didn't necessarily translate into sympathy for Romania like the Armenians managed to get for their country. Two observations about Romania-Moldova-Transnistria geopolitics I wrote quickly (might come back and reedit and complete later). About Moldova's indepence: The only way forward for Moldova is political union with Romania. Moldova, like Romania, is in demographical decline and on top of that, DIRT POOR. There are unfortunately no incentives for Romanians to go to Moldova, on the contrary Romanians from the republic come to Romania proper (many famous singers in Bucharest have Moldovan origin). The only reason why Moldova exists is because Russians wanted to carve up Romanian territory and we ended up in 2 states instead of one. This is the legacy of Russian colonization and should be undone – and I say this as a Moldovan. About Transnistria independence: Transnistria is not a legit country with aspirations for ethnic self-determination and independence but a glorified money laundering scheme. Transnistria being an unrecognize state allows them to do all sorts of shady businesses: they were not meant to be a real country, but a Russian protectorate inside MD. Their leaders are cognizant of this and this will inform their future decisions, as Russia's money is drying up they will probably concede to Romania (Russian speaking Transnistrian politicians already have Romanian citizenship). The Moldovan president said something similar a few weeks ago. Plus Transnistria cannot be a Russian stronghold any longer with the Ukraine situation: Ukraine blockades Russia's entire power projection to Transnistria. To argue Transnistria should still be in the Russian sphere you argue Ukraine should concede significantly to Russia on its western frontier and Ukraine doesn't want to give up an inch in the east, let alone allow a Russian puppet on its borders. Moreover, a third of Transnistria's population are Ukrainians (Russified Ukrainians at that), Romanian and Ukrainian languages should be promoted in Transnistria – not only Russian. But this opens up the discussion on the ethnic Romanians in Ukraine, which are subjected to limitations in education rights since Ukraine's 2017 education law.
