Mother of Puppies 35,951
I forgot one of my favorite movies though: PS I Love You i can’t compose myself- once I hear the soundtrack I could go on and cry a river… it’s so sad and beautiful at the same time (and „the horse whisperer“ watch that movie… and also Robert Redford was real hot in it) THEY CALL ME LADY MOP

Hyperobject 66,771
I’d say as kid I was traumatized by “bridge to terabithia”, literally got depressed for a few days after watching it. also, “millennium actress”’s ending made me cry like a baby lol. I have never seen anything like that. tbh, I would not want to watch it ever again. It‘s just too upsetting. Wondered how many posts it would take for this one to come up… it’s also my answer. The last movie that made me cry was Blonde.
KeepOnSwimming 720
The movie 'Precious' does something to me, no other movie ever does. Even though its somehow camp, the story of that girl is just so incredibly tragic, sad and aggrivating and in some way hits too close to home to me. I watched that movie twice and both times it made me cry like a baby for hours, thinking bout me and my sisters upbringing. And even though that movie is very over the top I think it does a damn good job at giving an insight of the nuances and stages that a dysfunctional family system can have. All the shame, the guilt, the abandonment, the spiralling and self hate. Precious' relationship with her mom, the disabled kids that nobody really gives a damn about, the whole social worker system...its so on point. At least for me all the emotions in this movie are so real. And that is terrible. That movie is just great. Its not the best movie I have ever seen, but the one that touches me the most as a grown up. Also, Maria Carey in that movie is just insane and that role is what she should be known for. Blew my mind.
