“Well, and Taylor Swift is about to show the studios, 'cause that's not, her concert film is not being distributed by the studios. It's being distributed by the theater owner, AMC, and it's going to make an enormous amount of money. And this is the thing, this is a format, this is a way of seeing things and sharing stories, or sharing experiences that’s incredibly valuable. And if they don’t want it, somebody else will. So that’s just the truth of it.”

But the Barbie crowds aren't screeching for 2 hours and blocking the screen with their dancing and recording :reductive:

cuz Barbie isn't a concert, it's a typically structured feature film. it's kinda reasonable that when Taylor Swift films an actual concert and puts it in theaters, the audience is gonna be very different than it would be for any other type of film :toofunny: this'll happen with the Renaissance film too

All I'm saying is concert films aren't new and cinema etiquette remains a thing. You're right though; it'll definitely also happen with the Renaissance film.
