I doesn't change it, cos SSOH is not the kind of rock that I want her to do! :bon:

Rock music is a wide spectrum with dozens of sub-genres.

A little bit! Personally, when I wanted RockGa I didn't want that "classic" rock sound because that's the most grating kind of music there is to me. I want Gaga to tune into the direction of like Mindless Self Indulgence, My Chemical Romance... I think it would be amazing if she did something like BabyMetal :rockstar:

No, there's a lot of different styles of rock and I think SSOH is just a little too classic rock and too slow for me to love

From looking at list of rock styles I would be most interested in an album of pop rock, psychedelic rock, punk rock, glam rock (like 80s style) or maybe grunge/alternative or a mixture of those styles

We already have A Star is Born and Joanne, which both heavily feature Rock as a genre. That's 2/4 of her most recent studio albums. IDK why people keep asking for more RockGa.

**People called Joanne her country album, but it was really mostly a rock/americana album with Country influences. Perfect Illusion was very rock and flopped. I can't go through another era like this again..

So you don’t want more rock because it might flop? Lol… :ladyhaha: Can’t believe some people still base their taste in music on success.

not at all... Gaga can sing any/most genre, but she is not a rock artist

Gaga explicitly said that she wanted to infuse the spirit of rock and roll into the medium of pop, so she clearly views herself as a rockstar

No, I don’t want more rock because Gaga has already done it… twice. I want something new and innovative. Olivia is already doing enough pop rock for the radio, and it’s been done for decades before. I don’t want a basic, over done, white washed genre (that literally killed disco btw, look it up) to be rehashed just because.

The song is fantastic. But it's a bluesy gospel song. It's not remotely mainstream - even among the rock crowd! It has no rock hook.

Where as plenty of non bluesy rock songs are both mainstream and hooky (Diamond Heart comes to mind).

RockGa could kill it. But BluesyGospelGa? Nah.

SSOH is more blues/gospel than rock imo. I would love for Gaga to take that jam session style of recording into her own studio. Work with various musicians, really rock out organically. A bit like Joanne but more hard rock, soul and jazz influenced instead of country rock. A sound that resembles her live shows, she has so much rock energy that often gets lost in recordings.

According to Gaga I'm a ****ing rad bitch

I don’t think SSOH is indicative of what Gaga’s own rock infused album could sound like, since it’s a Rolling Stones song on a Rolling Stones album.

she has zero songwriting/production credits.  Only served background vocals.

i think a Gaga rock album could sound like a mix of BTW and Joanne.

yeah like electric chapel but with harder hitting vocals and actual guitars
