What song (or era/album) made you think, "I wanna check out gaga more" or "Aight that's it, i have to stan."

For me, as soon as I saw her on So You Think You Can Dance? performing Just Dance, I was swept in.

Shallow was the song that lured me down the rabbit hole. It doesn't make it on to any of my playlists now, but it was the one.

Poker Face. I really liked Just Dance and Beautiful Dirty Rich but Poker Face was on another level. Then when I bought The Fame I listened to Lovegame and I just knew she was different and was here to stay.

It was a gradual process that took months, but mainly the VMA performance of Paparazzi and then Bad Romance.

Then I started following the tour more closely at the time and that solidified my fandom.

Applause was the song and the whole era of ARTPOP that made me a true fan of her.

Schwerk

The first time I heard her sing acoustic made me pay more attention to her specifically, watch interviews etc, download her unreleased music.

My reaction to her 2009 AMA performance made me realize I had become a fan.

After my first Monsterball I became a stan.

According to Gaga I'm a ****ing rad bitch

Dance in the Dark! I was already a bit of a supporter — everyone knew who she was by the time Bad Romance came out. I would come home and watch BR everyday for weeks. We all did. But that wasn’t the moment. That was like prep for transitioning from random listener to die-hard supporter

One night, in my kitchen, I was doing HW as a HS junior, and I figured “let’s listen to this album other than BR” and I heard Dance in the Dark and it was history from there.

Whenever I hear that song it brings me to that moment in my parent’s kitchen, and it’ll be a memory I’ll viscerally always feel.
