Even if this is trolling, there's a difference problematic and non-problematic trolling. Her 2020 reading rap lyrics as a middle-ages knight with an accent was non-problematic trolling, and it was actually funny. Now she's doing harmful trolling, and it's not funny.

Another really good example of this is Trisha Paytas. Trolling that she wanted to vote for Mitt Romney because "he was hot" was funny and non-problematic, "trolling" that she wanted to vote for Trump because of xenophobia is not funny and problematic.

This shirt is depicting a meme that the alt-right uses to make fun of school shootings btw

This isn’t clever or a joke. She is deeply entrenched in 4Chan, alt right culture and we’ve known this for a long time. I don’t know how so many don’t take this seriously despite the mountain of evidence for who she is and what she supports.

So my initial comment was right and no one is using their big girl brains to think about the context of the situation beyond their initial reactionary outrage. I'm not seeing where she is promoting bigotry, but go off I guess.

See my above comment.

She is platforming not only a man who himself is a neo-nazi white nationalist, but spreading a joke that alt right subcultures use to mock the murder of children.

Whenever there is a shooting they post this photo and joke that it’s a pre-transition photo of the transgender perpetrator of whatever the most recent shooting is. This joke has existed in far right message boards—which Doja is known to frequent—for years.

There’s not really a joke here. This is something she has consistently chosen to associate herself with for years. She never makes a point with it, never spins it into a joke..she just continuously immerses herself in it and platforms it.

At what point do we start applying the old adage “when someone shows you who they are, believe them”?

Does people even know what corners of the internet you have to frequent to even purchase a shirt like that? That is a stuff that you don't do spontaneusly.

You need to be

1.) to even know who he is

2.)  to think he’s funny

3.) to associate with the type of people who think he’s funny

4.) to go out of your way to buy a shirt of him

If she goes that far for a simple troll like some of the ever critical thinking people who replied here, she is either very dedicated to her humor or she is really from that crowd. It requires one to have a  deeply poisoned mind.

I don't care how edgy she is trying to be, platforming a NAZI in any way is way past the line

Ugh, so sick of people enabling stupid and self absorbed behavior just cause they like someone's music. Look elsewhere, there's plenty other great artists you're most likely sleeping on. Please stop enabling the likes of Doja, Nicki, Kanye, Grimes etc. and stop putting dumb and horrible people on a pedestal. I'm all for seperating art from the artist btw, but if you have to listen to their music, make it so you don't make them get any coins by doing so.
