The only silver lining here is that the WGA and the Hollywood studios seem to have reached a deal, so hopefully SAG-AFTRA follows shortly thereafter and the CBT film can be released! I thought that was just speculation It’s never been confirmed, but I honestly can’t think of any other good reason why it would’ve suddenly been delayed. It also makes perfect sense: Gaga’s a member of SAG, Gaga also likely signed a distribution contract with a major streaming service for the release of the CBT film; the strike happens, Gaga doesn’t want to be a scab, so she postpones (makes a vague IG post about the “live” experience of the CBT, as opposed to any reference to the film).
