Oriane 19,772
People's reactions here are too funny However wrong her behavior was, how does that justify her account on a random social media being suspended? I swear it took more time to suspend Trump who was repeatedly problematic on the platform than this random girl "Everybody knows the mute challenge, it's all over social media!" Regular people don't spend their time watching videos of concerts they will go to. "Blah blah main syndrome character who wants to be a star on social media" Maybe say this to the girl who filmed the video, poor girl is pissed that someone else ruined her perfect shot and is petty enough to post it and encourage people to get the other girl suspended. I wonder who enjoyed the concert more, the girl who sang or the girl who seems more obsessed with looking at the camera than the stage? Roughhouse Dandy 8,392
And you know what? Upon further reflection, the fan backlash is justified. If the concert isn't serious, neither is someone's social media page. She was obviously seeking some negative attention and decided to be petty; the internet was equally petty and gave her the attention she wanted. Neither are things I'd personally be a part of, but it's funny to see happen! No one is entitled to silence during a well-known challenge at one of the biggest tours of the decade and no one is entitled to a social media page. Like some of y'all were saying: the girl paid for her ticket to have fun and yell if she wanted to. The Twitter users subscribed to the app to have fun and report pages if they want to This is my Hannah Montana™️ lipgloss.

Like, at least if you're gonna try to be petty make it make sense. You obviously go to a concert to sing and dance and have fun. Pablo 7,308
What did they actually do to get suspended?? Cause I know that report button does nothing. Don't visit my profile

And it makes perfect sense; she was supposed to be quiet and didn't, so they found out a way to quiet her down for a minute lol You go to The Renaissance Tour to sing, dance, *participate*, and have fun. There's a well known dress code and game to play included in the experience. Both have even been reported on in the news so it's not like it's hidden insider-only information. skaxboy 4,387
This “challenge” is annoying to me because not every is aware of it and those who are aware make such a big deal out of it just for the sake of being part of something. Then there are people who are fully aware of it but purposefully want to be the contrarian and troll people. I love concerts for the experience. I don’t mind the people snapping photos but I get a bit annoyed at the people wanting to “create content.” If you keep to yourself, no problem. But if you put yourself on selfie mode and are bothering other people then please, stay at home. I only became aware of this on Instagram. At the Renaissance show I went to, the guy next to us asked what it was all about about and I told him. He had seen nothing regarding the show but was a huge fan. I would be annoyed if I were a die hard fan, paid my ticket to see her, then get barked at for not knowing a part to stay silent that isn’t in the studio version of the song. It’s not like it’s “(You Drive Me) Crazy- The Stop Remix.”
Gaga2645 2,050
People are steadily saying disrupting the fun of the concert isn’t a “big deal” yet are acting like a suspended Twitter account is the end of the world. If yall just don’t like beyonce please just say that because you look like a clown. If this were a gaga show y’all would be throwing hissy fits too, pls

I mean, sure the mega fans in the front have heard about it by now, but to expect everyone in a huge stadium to stay silent is ridiculous... and to then make such a huge fuss about it... gabeoz 7,915
I mean it’s one thing to be one of the people who haven’t heard of the challenge, but the vast majority of people there know of it (I was at that exact same show the other night everyone around me was totally SILENT) but she quite obviously did it to be annoying. It’s not that big of a deal, definitely not what it’s being made out to in this thread. But just be respectful at concerts and don’t be annoying just for the attention
Oriane 19,772
"You would do the same if it was Gaga" Assuming the person knows about the challenge, I would turn to them, give them a bad look and go on with my day, enjoy the rest of the show and wouldn't let 5 seconds ruin the whole experience, and definitely wouldn't give it more thought after 2 minutes.
