Maxine Puth 9,053
I think his legacy is still kinda up in the air, he’s very much a 2000s/early 2010s throwback artist (as opposed to a legacy act) but one could’ve said the same about Gaga back in 2016 and she did well. Maybe this can push him to his next peak.
Guillaume Hamon 6,503
He's an amazing singer/dancer and folks will be reminded of that watching the show. Who cares if he doesn't have recent hits? He has a long list of old hits to sing.
Inactive 698
I like usher but why are they doing a hip-hop/rnb artist for the 4th year in a row.

Can we really count riri as an hip-hop/ r&b act? Her set had a lot of pop and dance too. Tbh I think they kinda used all the "big enough for the SB" popstars aside Taylor and at this point... And Pink if we count her as a popstar.

She also gained traction after the sound of music performance, cheek to cheek and till it happens to you Oscar performance. So not as relevant as 2012 but there was only a 4 year gap between biggest superstar in the world and Super Bowl. Plus everyone from a 5 yr old to a 105 year old knows Gaga. 90% of Gen z will have zero idea who usher is

Also everyone in Gen Z knows who Usher is, as a member of Gen Z who grow up while he was still making hits. Lady Gaga doesn't owe us anything
