I read this elaborate theory on why this year's online activity has been bizarre even for what we're used to from "adga". The Harleen character is most certainly very intense, she could be having a hard time getting out of method, all while still promoting her business and endorsements. We don't know.

We do know that she takes her music and acting seriously so the time to get out of method, to then lock herself in a studio to work on an album is just not easy and it could take a toll on her-or anyone's for that matter- mental health so she's probably going at a slower, healthier pace (she even said she's healing in the CBT film post). Her label doesn't seem to pressure her, good for her if so.

Gurl a movie role really shouldn't be that serious and if it is for her, then i would suggest she finds another way to act cause that's really not sustainable in the long run

To be honest, I see this too. Since BTW era, she was not the same. 
Even with the Chromatica Ball, I did not see to much from her, and the tour was not what I expected.

Hummm, I would argue the recent Nurtec ads hurt her credibility more for some fans than whatever else she did in the past decade (Joanne, Jazz albooms, Vegas, Microsoft/Corporate Ball, Hauslabs, acting venture, etc.)

People were still hyped when she did Chromatica and that Dom Perignon collab, especially since she was serving visual with it. So interest and rabidness still there, it's just that to fans and locals alike, Gaga is not and might never be this persona with regular dressing girl next door vibe, people know her to be over the top and that what everyone expected whenever she come up. Whenever she dresses avant-garde coutoure, everyone, including this cult site would cheered her more. Without that, it does feel a little quieter from everyone.

My issue has nothing to do with the ads or less fan engagement. I just hate that the wait between eras is getting longer and longer but we get less and less content. It’s so frustrating seeing her team sit on things and waste potential. I don’t think ppl would be complaining as much if we had a proper chromatica era that had tons of content to feed off of to get us through the next 3 years and counting. 
 

Her attitude towards music is also so off putting. She was so nonchalant about LG6.  Didn’t even arianna retweet that pic of her sleeping during the Grammy awards? So disheartening. And personally, I don’t like how see seems to do the exact opposite of what her fans want. I’m not saying she has to give into demands of fans but throw us a bone once in a while. I’m not expecting ARTPOP act 2 but some ARTPOP songs on the latest tour would have been amazing, especially after the whole petition thing which she even addressed. Sigh

I mean, the whole ASIB era disproves this theory  Everyone was stanning her in Venice, the whole movie promo, the Oscars. She doesn’t need to look camp to be successful and get fan approval, she just has to actually produce, provide, and promote her art.

In all fairness, the ASIB was promo looks were quite camp, but agreed that she doesn’t necessarily need to adhere to one specific aesthetic in order to be successful. My biggest gripe w/ her has gotta be that she doesn’t seem to care too much about promo + misses out on fairly easy opportunities to release material.

I think the issue is lack of new fans than loss of older fans, and it could be remediated but with a heavy social media presence, which she does not want. After the Shallow win at Oscars, she was getting 2M likes easy on IG posts, it was amazing.
