She did (Arts and Humanities Committee), but she appeared in other people's photos; she didn't mention it herself.

I love that nowadays fans don’t see artists like Tony Bennett or The Rolling Stones as pop artists, but back in their day they were the epitome of pop :ladyhaha:

Mainly because "pop" evolved to be synonym with synthpop and similars

Knowing that we are getting a CD release and most likely a vinyl release, I'm absolutely foaming at the mouth and I can't wait :tony:

Angry got a 7" vinyl, 10" vinyl, and a CD. We can probably expect the same for SSOH, but whatever we get I will be purchasing ASAP

Why :toofunny:? That would be the slay of the decade? A smash with a legendary band? The f.uck?

I totally agree haha, I meant what I said in the sense that ONLY this legendary queen could be responsible for something like this occurring. It would be over for all the gurls :fan:

The Rolling Stones haven’t cracked the top ten in over 40 years, so it would truely be a miracle

Well yes I know that, it’s just funny since pop is quite a loose term. For example pop music from just 10 years ago is such a different realm compared to now. Different influences, different sounds.

I mean I’d love to eat my words, I’m a huge Rolling Stones fan (their early 70s music is such a staple in my playlists, Goat Head Soup is such an underrated album):cryga: I just don’t want people expecting too much in terms of chart success only to be disappointed if it doesn’t top the charts.

I have no expectations re: commercial performance at all, I’m just pinching myself at a collab between Gaga & THE Rolling Stones (& Stevie Wonder). It’s such a treat.

100%. Pop is a big tent label, but online gays seem to think it means electrohouse, Synthpop etc. Drives me up a wall when people say that Joanne isn’t a pop record because it fully is.

People that call Joanne country had never listened to a country song.

I was feeling a bit weird about the song description at first but yesterday I came across Panic! at the Disco's Hallelujah again and now I wonder if this might have a similar kind of sound.
