Why are they covered in new fresh sand instead of being meticulously cleaned before display like a mummy or proper fossil?

Now, this mexican alien mummy is really cheap looking compared to Ray Santilli's being you can see in his infamous 'Alien Autopsy' of the 90's. After years of viral spread around the world, Santilli admitted the creature you see in the so called autopsy footage was a 'reconstruction' made by british artist John Humphreys. Anyway, according to Santilli, he had to 'reconstruct' parts of the original footage he obtained from an anonymous source (how convenient), bc said footage (existence of it never proven, oc) was so damaged, hence the 'reconstruction'.

Santilli sold his 'creation' to dozen of TV network for a copious amount of money and it took about 10 years for the hoax to be publicly revealed and acknowledged.

So. Mexican alien mummy. How much income will they make of it ? How many years will it take for the hoax to be unveiled ?
