Idk who you’re talking to exactly but I’ve never thought this until recently after Chromatica. For the record, I’d love her to keep making pop music, I just don’t think it’s something she’s that interested in as she moves through her career. It’s a celeb forum, relax

I am talking to you. And I am very calm lol. Monsters have been doom-posting about her ditching pop music since 2014. She would no sooner get dropped by her label if she really wanted to ditch pop music, which is a whole other can of worms and just adds to the ridiculousness of the theory.

I’m not being pessimistic, I meant it from a growth perspective. If Gaga tomorrow woke up and said she no longer enjoys making pop music and wants to only do jazz or movies or whatever, I’d support her and love whatever she puts out and respect her decision. It’s just my opinion after seeing how she’s evolved over the years and how she seems to be thriving like never before with Jazz & Piano. You never know what she’s going to do next and me thinking she’s losing her affinity for pop music is not coming from a negative place in any way. It’s really not that serious

The thread asked for my opinion, and I gave it. My apologies that you found it so jarring that it required a combative response. She seems happier than ever making and performing jazz music and as she grows as an artist I could see it being incredibly realistic for her to not want to put out any traditionally-“Gaga” style pop albums in the future in favor of something else. That’s literally all I’m saying. Is that really so outlandish?

I think in a realistic way Gaga’s next album will have a raw sound, maybe like rock inspired, jazz influences, funk and soul. But I hope it has experimental elements in it.

I think it’ll probably be her darkest sound yet. Slowed + Reverb are what’s in right now: like Heavy Metal Lover, and Bloody Mary, but instead of elements of rock it’ll be elements of jazz

I predict a more optimistic, uplifting, spiritual pop record. Movie scores melded into pop music.

We’ve seen Gaga attempt to move heaven and hearth to affect change for the better with her music.

Initially, she put lightning into a bottle, shook it up, and shot it in a direction of resistance, but for good.

Chromatica was a dance through her pain, an admission that she is flawed, fallible, and isn’t a deity.

With her next record I predict she will shine a light on the beauty of what is still here. Flip the script, saying there’s pain, but life itself is incredible.
