This is about two things: 1. Revenge for Trump 2. To invalidate impeachment, to make it a "normal" and "only political" thing that happens. This is for the purpose of trying to make Trump's 2 impeachments meaningless Impeachment probably won't pass in the House, but even if it did, there is a zero percent chance it would result in removal since it would require all republicans + 16 democrats to vote for removal in the Senate. (aka: not going to happen) unless they somehow uncover actual evidence of an impeachable offense.
