This is usually the ones I watch: Evil Dead 1 and 2, Friday the 13th, Nightmare on Elm Street, Hellraiser, Child's Play, Scream, Trick'r Treat, V/H/S, The Adventures of Ichabod and Mr. Toad, Scooby Doo on Zombie Island or any Scooby Doo movie depending on the mood, Poltergeist, The Ring (both the original Japanese and the American versions), Ghostbusters, Beetlejuice, Paranorman, Casper, Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark and 1991's The Addams Family. Also, every year I like to watch Hocus Pocus and The Rocky Horror Picture Show to start and close the season. You can't have a gay Halloween without them. Flippy 11,553 Posted September 10, 2023 Share Posted September 10, 2023 I always try to watch horror movies I’ve never seen to make it a little more fun, but for sure Trick R Treat is on the rewatch list, along with Hostel (1 and 2) and maaaaybe the Child’s Play franchise every now and then! Very few movies have made me feel the same way that movie did. I felt like a little piece of my soul broke. OT: The only horror movies I’m willing to rewatch around Halloween are Hocus Pocus, The Witches, The Craft, etc. I do, however, watch a ton of new horror from around now until the end of Oct. just watched The Nun II, looking forward to The Exorcist sequel.
