RAMROD 109,195
Each Sunday, Pitchfork takes an in-depth look at a significant album from the past, and any record not in our archives is eligible. Today, we revisit Lady Gaga’s most divisive and conceptually ambitious album. In 2013, Lady Gaga was in pain. Ten months into touring the world with her Born This Way Ball, the singer exacerbated a hip injury while performing in Montreal, causing her to cancel all subsequent shows and withdraw from the spotlight. What was reported as a labral tear was actually much worse. “Before I went to surgery, there were giant craters, a hole in my hip the size of a quarter, and the cartilage was just hanging out the other side of my hip. I had a tear on the inside of my joint and a huge breakage,” she said in an interview that July. “The surgeon told me that if I had done another show, I might have needed a full hip replacement.” Full article: https://pitchfork.com/reviews/albums/lady-gaga-ARTPOP/ Well, they finally reviewed this alboom, 10 years in (ノ◕ヮ◕)ノ✧*:・゚ 𝘸𝘰𝘶𝘭𝘥𝘢 𝘴𝘩𝘰𝘶𝘭𝘥𝘢 𝘤𝘰𝘶𝘭𝘥𝘢, 𝘥𝘪𝘥𝘯'𝘵 (*´艸`*) ♡♡♡

connorfilm 7,295
Someone message Metacritic and ask them to add it to the album’s score. Lol.
Sherry 4,715
G.U.Y being her best pop song until Rain On Me. Period. That’s my favourite song of ARTPOP. Love it when you call me legs, in the morning buy me eggs 🥚

Ivy 12,473
The songs are hooky and encompassing but not with the easy cheese of Katy Perry’s “Roar” or Miley Cyrus’ “We Can’t Stop,” and the lyrics about power and agency are shrouded in metaphor, unlike Lorde’s simple and sincere “Royals.” That's what I love about ARTPOP the meow in zombieboy
Red 97,978
I'd say Gaga's most divisive album is Joanne but go off I guess If you see me posting like crazy, I'm either bored or procrastinating.

Imo 95% of people would rank Joanne in the bottom 3 of Gaga's discography, and most people are turned off by the toned down vibes and the "country" sound. Also 95% of people will agree that the music videos were disappointing except John Wayne.

Reginald 13,841
Tied with Chromatica, and higher than Joanne (which is scored lowest of the studio albums). Sounds about right to me I see that ASIB is, rightfully, only .1 higher than ARTPOP? Let the mess begin
Starmie25 18,315
This type of sound and character is NEEDED in the mainstream music these days. No joke.

The opinion of general audiences matters as well. Fans are not the only consumers of music.
