I don't believe he's significantly damaging her reputation because the primary audience of the shows he appears on typically holds unfavorable opinions of Gaga to begin with. I do find it peculiar though, from a personal perspective, that he's willing to bad mouth his own daughter for some temporary clout.

To me, it speaks VOLUMES that she did still perform at the inauguration even with her dad begging her not to. More so than if she were to say something about it now.

I feel like people are purposefully obtuse if they think Gaga agrees, and Gaga just got a bunch of headlines for making a pro trans speech at Vegas.  Part of stan twitter (being deranged) might blame her for Joe's behavior, but most reasonable people do not (and most are unaware of Joe).

But yeah, at this point I think her best bet is pulling an Angelina Jolie and just ignoring him. Angelina says nothing when Jon Voight rants about QAnon, Trump, or even her. I think she's right in just ignoring it for now unless Joe starts claiming Gaga agrees with him (which he has not, and if anything points out Gaga is different).

I'd feel differently if Gaga never spoke about politics (or the above, if Joe acted like Gaga was in line with him), but she does. But if she speaks out now, it just gets more headlines and more clickbait for this awful guy going on about spirit cooking. Not to mention these right wingers, when acknowledged by public figures in the past, seize on it like a rabid dog and become even worse.

*I do think before LG7 it might be a good idea for her publicist to drop a small story to People or ET about Gaga's "family" troubles.

Also, it's "so" telling that Joe does this whenever Gaga is in the news or has something going on. She got a bunch of headlines about Vegas, the Rolling Stones, and her trans speech...here he comes running to the press again.

I would never judge Gaga (people can't help having shitty parents, and it's ****ed to blame them for it), but I side eye Cynthia for staying married to this man considering his behavior towards their child and his politics. Hopefully, she's separated from him and we just don't know as they are private citizens.

I think she said how the women in her family raised her to be who she is, while her dad was the one to call her irresponsible

He said about it on fox news before the inauguration:
