It’s been a year, there’s no hype

This is the most important point here

Chromatica the ALBUM came out in 2020… it’s nearly 2024. It would not make sense at all. It’s been too long.

Maybe a theatrical release of her live show could work in the future but now isn’t the time to try I’d say.

Direct to streaming would be best for CBT

It’s true tho, there is no hype for TCB at this point.

And sadly I don’t think there is any hype around Gaga herself, atm . And returning to Vegas has not made a splash at all either

Pronounced like “Balenciaga” . Emphasis on the “Ga”

Many were saying that last year too and look what ended up happening:

Don't underestimate Gaga.

Many dates of this tour already sold out before it got delayed cos covid. It was announced in 2020, just after the album announcement, the hype from new album helps selling the tour tix as per usual, I don't think that can reflect situation for today where nothing exciting for music fans from Gaga lately.

This is last year.  The tour is over.  And she’s been very quiet and out of the spotlight lately- that’s why I said there is no hype around Gaga “atm”.  I don’t think any of the jazz shows are sold out. I could be wrong.  I’m not underestimating her, just speaking realistically- anyone outside of this forum isn’t focused on Gaga atm

It’s true, because there’s nothing new. Even the return to Vegas is a continuation of her 2019 jazz residency and they’re even using the same artwork for the poster. It’s almost probably just to fulfil the contract I’m not surprised there isn’t a new groundswell of hype for a new leg of a 2019 jazz residency.I was super excited to hear about it but I’m not even probably going to see it because I already went.

I don’t think anyone should compare Taylor to anyone else at this point, but you’re right that comparisons will inevitably arise. I just wondered if even regular good box office would be fine. Maybe stans would drag her for not being able to compete with Eras but everyone reasonable knows that that is an unfair comparison. I thought Gaga could have a cute little hit and ride off of the energy and appetite for concert films in the wake of Eras.

That actually is a good thing and I think you're right!

Do YOU own the 4' by 6' Perfect Illusion promo Poster? Will pay you for it. Pic: http://i.imgur.com/UWuzumk

Give it an LA/NYC/CHI/HTX/ATL showing, make them events with a pop up shop and Q+A's, and call it a day. The right moment for a large release has passed and it would only give both the annoying LM's as well as stans of other pop women ammo to be needlessly critical.

imagine if Gaga did a promo tour with Q&A. I think these would sell out pretty much instantly.

I agree! But I don’t think she would do this.

At this point, I’m hoping there’s something more to the chromatica ball film than just the concert itself. Ether a look into the making of the album, or behind the scenes into the tour or something…

It wouldn’t happen in a trillion years but it would be fantastic if she had finished up some chromatica film… like music video style to accompany it

I think it's a little too late right now (and I feel like the film will come out very suddenly and very short-notice), but something like Metallica's live tour format would've worked incredibly well, especially in a lot of spaces in Europe she didn't go to:

That would have been perfect!

I’m guessing there will be some BTS but mostly concert. I don’t think it’s going to be a full on doc. That’s my guess.

Lol she doesn't have the pull for this. She needs to strike a deal with a streamer. And she better do it fast because Beyonce is coming and she will obliterate the competition
