She didn’t do this the first date, right? She sounds so good, I love it with the orchestra / slowed down compared to her piano version in 2020.

Yeah, I'm thankful
Scratch that, baby, I'm grateful
Gotta say it's really been a while
But now I got back that smile (smile)

My brain:

a) Katy Perry - Smile

b) Lily Allen - Smile

c) Avril Lavigne - Smile

Gaga:

d) None of the above

If you see me posting like crazy, I'm either bored or procrastinating.

So touching. Best voice ever.

Love her telling stories and spilling her feelings between songs and verses.

The dress big black train :flutter: like a lovely magpie.

She's such a timeless treasure.

Late to the party but I got a diamond heart

She’s so talented it’s unbelievable sometimes. Stunning vocals - her commitment to her craft is so inspiring.

Is something really iconic if it doesn't immediately pop into the mind of the average person (like me)?

So you’re saying a jazz standard that was written by Charlie Chaplin and has been performed by Tony Bennett, Judy Garland, Michael Jackson, and Lady Gaga is less iconic than Smile by Katy Perry (a song that only liddos on pop forums know)? 🫠

I’m willing to bet though, with the context of Lady Gaga singing a pop standard / jazz show, most people aware of American entertainment would assume its Smile by Charlie Chapman :ladyhaha: I didn’t think I had to clarify in the title, especially since, well, she’s sung it before.
