So she would need permission to release any “vault” stuff, from any time period. But if Interscope wanted to they could release it tomorrow. If we do end up getting anything I don't think it's what anyone is necessarily expecting. She barely performs songs from ARTPOP...it's pretty much only Applause and Aura. It also would probably get ripped by the critics, even if the critics have reevaluated ARTPOP recently, as the sound would be dated. Not to mention she's heavily implied (and even said) she was going through a rough time at that period. I'm sure some fans will be mad and say she should deliver it as so many want it, but not every artist is Taylor Swift (and that's not shade towards Taylor). Many put out only what they feel comfortable putting out....if artists catered only towards fans then Lana would have released so many of her unreleased tracks by now. I think they'll do something for sure, ACT II has had insane fan demand since it was mentioned. Whatever they'll do however, no clue. This is the reason why the BTW 10th Anniversary was made by covers and not the vault material, she recorded a lot of songs for BTW. Why would she even want to. thats true, wasnt she the one who wanted to release it back in 2014? but also in 2021, when #buyARTPOPoniTunes was trending, she tweeted about it saying she was very thankful for us and for what we made with the album.
