I can't believe an artist that was treated so badly is willing to sign with the label that is known to treat their artists like horse ****

Jive Records, her first label, was independent during Britney's early peak. It then got bought by Sony just like many other smaller record labels got bought by Sony. Sony now has sadly a huge monopoly and is controlling the world music industry. It is the first choice for many.

I hope Britney will make independent decisions on her own, but there will be Sony experts, Sony advisers, all exerting their influence on how current mainstream music shall sound like... this also explains the sound of her recent albums...

I listened to her entire discography the other night. Femme Fatale and Britney Jean are definitely some of her weakest work (even tho I was obsessed with Femme Fatale when it came out :air: ).

Hopefully she is working with some good producers and she can do the music she wants. I can’t handle anymore will.i.am collabs. 🚮

Yes, william shall stay away, he ruined already one album and shall ruin no more :grr:

I agree, that BJ is her weakest work. Glory lacks the power of previous albums, too.

FF was the first unbalanced album, where there were awful songs and then suddenly very good songs came. I'm also hoping for a good release.

Her mental health needs to be first priority. And I also think some fans need to seriously realise that too and stop hounding her with these nonstop "comeback era" fantasies. Music can wait.

Music is a creative process and can also be a way of healing for an artist.

To me Femme Fatale is her best album :sis:

to me, it's Britneys most extreme album with songs ranging from horrying to excellent.

Music/dancing is her therapy and she always records during hard times.

Yeah, remember how we got the pearl of Blackout during her hardest times and she reflected on her struggles in Why Should I be Sad?. It can be her therapy and have a positive influence.

I'm looking gorgeous tonight

I just hope this is better than all of the trash they've forced her to record, especially Britney Jean. Mind Your Business is really the LOWEST point in her career, can't believe that now that she's free they came up with that.

I always think about that quote "I'd be dead if I didn't dance". It means so much to her on a spiritual level it's sad that some people mock her for it.
