Wasn't he found not guilty on all crimes? Personally I'm uncomfortable with courts of public opinion. There were allegations. And all of them were not found to be convincing in a court of a law. So I think it's fair to move on now.

It's hard to type but honestly.. I feel like we were robbed of a gay icon with the allegations/trial. Spacey is an iconic actor, been in so many massive projects, and he finally came out as gay, but will forever be tarnished/viewed very poorly. I hope the trials result is the actual truth.

Do people expect Kevin to not know people?

His case is over, whether you agree with the result or not, he’s going to move on with his life in the UK, he’s bound to know someone else famous.

He was acquitted. And anyways all people are allowed to have friends. When someone gets accused of something and is “cancelled” everyone literally expects them to be fully unemployed and shunned by everyone FOREVER.

Being found not guilty doesn't necessarily equate to innocence though. Sexual assault is one of the hardest crimes to prove, especially if it happened decades ago.

And? You have to remember that criminal trials are not black and white. Just because someone is acquitted doesn't mean they didn't do it, it means the prosecution didn't adequately prove that the defendant did it. Famous example being the OJ Simpson trial where multiple jurors believed OJ guilty but couldn't convict because they didn't feel the prosecution had erased all doubt.

Sex crimes are notoriously hard to prosecute, especially ones that happened so long ago.

Do you know how rare it is for someone to come forward about sexual assault or rape and not be telling the truth? Do you know how much rarer it is for multiple people to come forward against the same person? This is not a matter of the trial unravelled he was innocent, it's a case of they simply couldn't provide all the proof necessary to convict because sexual assault and rape is an often proofless crime.

At the end of the day, he himself said initially that he didn't remember the encounter but didn't deny the possibility that something happened. He only denied the allegations outright later on when it became a legal issue. He has admitted to other kinds of harassment and inappropriate behavior as well, hence why he was fired from House of Cards.

At the end of the day, the statistics just don't support this having been some organized take down. It is insanely insanely uncommon for multiple individuals--let alone fifteen--to come forward with something like this.

Don’t forget that he admitted for the harassments in the House of Cards set and was fined over it

he was found not guilty only in the UK if I’m not wrong

in the US one victim wanted to stay anonymous so he was removed but the trial still going on with another person

His fart felt like a kiss

He never admitted he is gay when he was in the spotlight, only after his allegations he had to came out, he is not a gay icon.

Where do I disagree? I said we were robbed of a gay icon which means he never was or is one.
