In the last days tho, a lot of media are starting to pick up the fact that many mansions of rich people didn't get involved in the fires. The names are Gaga, Oprah, Julia Roberts, Bill Gates and others. Conspiracy theorists are on full force on this.

Also, this is a bit off topic but....the Hawaiians want independence thing is mostly a twitter fantasy. There have been multiple polls and it ranges from 4-6% in regards of wanting independence. It's hardly Puerto Rico, where a sizeable amount want independence and an even more sizeable amount want to be a state instead of a territory. The Hawaiians also want tourism reform, not to be ban tourism, even though twitter is acting like they want to ban all tourists.

It's honestly one of the oddest things on twitter. It's like a group psychosis sort of thing, where they pretend multiple polls and studies don't exist. I mean, there have even been articles on the situation so it's not like it's only academia that provides this information. I don't know if people are genuinely unaware or are being purposefully obtuse in regards to the subject.

Despicable that people are losing their homes and dying but republicans and conspiracy theorists are trying to use that to gain points. I'm not defending the actual people and billionaires who are stealing land, but Gaga isn't one of them.
