Well, let's not act like the facts were always straight. I don't really think Megan is lying, but her story wasn't always straight and it's changed several times. While it's a traumatic event and I can understand that she naturally wouldnt remember every detail, she came out the gate very confidently when accusing him. But through deposition, her personal accounts told through social media over time, and news coverage, her story changed. Kelsey's story changed several times as well and she was the witness in the whole situation, with her having gun residue as well. Megan claimed she was directly shot in both feet after claiming it was just broken glass at first, and then later said it was just shrapnel from the first bullet in her other foot. She also claims it was over Tory's musical talent while Tory claimed it was because he was linking with both Kelsey and Megan, and Megan and Kelsey fell out after the incident which is funny timing for something that should have brought them closer together. I understand Megan lied because she knew it would be hard on her to prove events and get people to believe her, but her lies both hurt her credibility and kept police from investigating evidence and the scene correctly from the start.
