I don't think it'll match the commercial impact of FN (though I don't see how the lead doesn't get a #1 debut), but I can see this seriously upgrading her critical status/cred if she pulls this off

Well I think we could have said that about FN too if we knew it was going to be a disco-inspired album a year prior to its release yet it smashed so hard everyone was doing disco music

I think disco lends itself to commercial success much more than psychedelic music – but obviously we have no idea what "inspired" means here.

if it's a full-fledged faithfully-psychedelic album, I can't imagine it matches FN's heights.

If it's a pop album with psychedelic flavor, then yeah, this might be her biggest era yet
