Also, canceling concerts is a big deal. People are having to travel to see Taylor. People will lose so much money and would be very upset if she did this. But at the same time, I see the request being legit. Are these workers on strike right now or just wanting higher wages?

I see this request being legit and right BEFORE scheduling dates and selling tickets. As soon as she announces the tour  ask her not to come to your city because of all the legit reasons they have. However, once people invested their money/time is pointless cancelling these shows to  help, economically, some people while demaging others

they're not blaming her, they're asking for a show of solidarity to make their strikes more visible and effective. it 100% won't come to fruition but at least asking for it raised some awareness of their plight

Happy to see unions taking action all over the country and I hope they achieve their goal. Labor activism is the only thing that might coalesce into something that can influence our gridlocked legislature in the future.

False! These people with these extraordinary positions could make a lot of impact with some simple moves, hell everyday normal people can. I often think about Amazon workers. If a large portion of the public took a stand for their friends, family, neighbors etc. that do grueling work for Amazon and follow bogus policies and didn’t order for even a week they’d notice a dip in sales and do something about it.

But then again it’s so much easier to call out one single person for XY&Z instead of cutting own habits and comfort. It’s the same with Amazon, Shein and what not.
