The first two are actually good movies with a well written story and effective twists, things went downhill from 3 onwards. I hated when modern horror changed to some weird paranormal trend like really that's what scares you? Now this stuff is scary, Hostel is scary, slashers are scary, things that feel like with some normal film logic suspension of belief could happen to you.
