MonsterPaws 2,652
I love their marketing team. Sadly stopped using the app after they increased the amount of ads. I totally understand it's to support the development of the app but the ads are very in-your-face. And on top of that the UI itself has animations that take too long. One or the other has to be fixed. I find myself spending more time looking at ads and the app's animations and transition effects than I am learning. And with the heart system it makes learning take so much longer than it used to. But the app itself is actually great and gave me a leg up compared to my peers when I took French in college! So for those able, I actually suggest paying the subscription to support the developers and make life way easier.

HermioneT 1,985
Duo has always been the superior bird! I love Duolingo and obsess daily over my 461 day streak  I also feel as if my French really profited from it (I use Duolingo to refresh my language skills, not to learn a new language). Thatâs why I always subscribe cause otherwise I would be totally frustrated. 3 hours ago, HermioneT said: Duo has always been the superior bird!
